Dan grew up in small Prophetstown, Illinois. As a child he was creative a loved to assemble and build things. As a teenager he went to work at the local lumberyard. He loved the industry and learned as much as he could. After holding numerous positions, he retiring after 50 years of service.

In his spare time Dan loves to create everything from furniture to toys and grandfather clocks. Dan has been creating beautiful things his entire life. He uses high quality materials, solid wood and pays attention to every detail.

Dan brings decades of craftsmanship and expertise to each unique project. His commitment to quality and precision is reflected in every piece he creates, ensuring satisfaction and timeless elegance for his clients.

Each piece is its own unique product, showcasing the beauty of the wood while maintaining the integrity and durability. Each part of the tree has its own natural grain, patterns, knots and other characteristics that make the wood beautiful and unique. Each piece is meticulously crafted with durability that can be handed down for generations.

Dan has two workshops, one in Bettendorf, Iowa, in the garage where he designed his on workspace with moving carts and rotating tables.  In Yuma, Arizona he works out of a small 6x8 shed. He sells his products at craft shows and on his website. Most of his sales are repeat customers and through word of mouth.
